Touring the Great Lakes
Lake Superior, Lake Huron, Lake Michigan, Lake Eerie, and Lake Ontario are the five major bodies of water in the Great Lake system. In addition to these massive bodies of water, the Great Lake system also include many harbors and bays and the connections between each of the lakes and the world ocean. They each have their own characteristics that stand out; such as their depth, area covered, native species, and other factors that vary from lake to lake.
